Mathea Huston is a certified Senior Wellness Specialist in the LROME™ (Limited Range of
Motion Exercise) methodology.
For the past 6 years, Mathea has worked with people from ages 50 to 98 in their homes. She is devoted to helping adults regain their mobility and strength through proper movement. Mathea’s passion is working with adults and her clients enjoy seeing firsthand how their work together can improve their everyday living.
Through experiencing injuries from playing competitive ice hockey, Mathea has a unique understanding of what these setbacks can do, both physically and mentally. This has been the driving force in her commitment and motivation to helping others recover from pain and discomfort and continue living a healthy life.
Combining her psychology degree from Boston College, continuous education and certifications provides a physically challenging and psychologically supportive environment to help clients reach their optimal results.
With her background, Mathea is able to assist clients of all abilities to reach their goals and understanding the benefits of all dimensions in fitness including strength training, joint mobility, muscular flexibility, balance and core stability, and cardiovascular exercise.
LROME™ is a proprietary and scientifically proven strength training methodology developed that focuses on strengthening specifically challenged muscle groups, is safer to use than full range of motion exercises and eliminates momentum and that makes LROME™ safer on joints and muscles.
LROME™ was developed in 1981 by Steve Satin and is being used by over 400 people to increase muscle strength in a safe and effective way. It focuses on specific muscle groups and limits the risks normally associated with larger movements.
